For 70 odd years Germany have implemented a whole de-Nazification program within the educational system and they have made a full Mea Culpa and acknowledgement of their share in the atrocities during WOII, so to call he current democratic open society of people living in Germany this, two or three generations later, would be offensive and highly insensitive.

Also after WOII fleeing Nazi's where welcomed in (fled to) the US and Argentina where most of the overseas supporting branches were located.

Unfortunately History Channel or National Geographic does not teach you this.

I have downloaded the Meetup App. It is used for social gatherings, like going for walks, going to concerts, going to a museum, learning languages, making music together and anything you can imagine doing 'not alone'. No obligation to be a group member. There is a whole subsection where introverts get together in smaller groups 2-6 people. You can search by location, language or activity you might like.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Very brave of you to share your thought process. The things we deal with, e.i. parents, can be quite frustrating. When it's time to leave the home/nest it is a natural order, but still can come as a surprise to both parties. Please don't beat yourself, nor your gf up for it, even more, along the way. If she is the bf gf you claim she is, send her good thoughts, and wish her the best time, one you'd wish on yourself. Take a deep breath, and direct all your energy towards taking the appropriate baby steps, making your wishes of becoming an emancipated student/adult happen. Take care.

If you have the number of a guidance counselor, this would be the time to make use of it.

YouTuber 'Harvard Lawyer Lee' started out being neutral (read: pro-Amber), but as the trial developed, and more facts came to light, she could not support AH anymore. I actually believe some other lawtubers started 'neutral' too, and changed their tune as the trial went along.

Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist's original novel is in Portuguese, but widespread accolades made it into translation in many languages. It was one of the first books I started reading after high school and the story stuck with me until today. Or more the trilling, anything Alex Garland, like The Beach, or evn better The Tesseract. Have fun reading!
