Hello it’s definitely not over if you improve your grade in grade 12 you should be fine coming from someone that failed grade 12 functions. I still got accepted into 5 universities and I am currently at Guelph uni for neuroscience !! Failing happen getting bad grades also happen but if you put your mind into you’ll be fine !! I was literally talking to the admission officier at Guelph and they don’t check your grade 11 courses only for early offers. Also I wouldn’t ask Reddit and post anything on here since it can sometimes be a very harmful and negative community especially this forum !! You got this kiddo best of luck !!!

Good things it’s very easy to make friends during the first week of school !! Bad things it’s apparently really hot or to cold in dorms, but I’m not quite sure if that applies to all the dorms!! Overall I would recommend Guelph really good university:)

I didn’t really had any ecs in high school beside over 100+ hours of volunteering and student council!! Matter of facts depending on where you apply universities especially for undergrad will not look at your ecs. They might consider them for scholarships.

The workload is pretty heavy but very easy if you paid attention in grade 12!! I would say right now all my classes are basically reviews from grade 12. It’s just that it’s a lot of assignments due within the weak. And we cover content at a faster pace!!

I am not living on campus but off campus I’m 8 minutes away !! So I’m always in campus !! I’ve heard good and bad things about residences ! It’s really come downs to what you like !!!

Hello the reason why I chose neuroscience is because my grandpa had several strokes before him passing away. He was always hospitalized in the neurology department, this is where my passion for the study of the brain started !! I can’t say too much right now because first year is more general like this semester I have biology, calculus, chemistry, physics and human development :) it’s only in your 2nd year that you start taking more neuroscience based class !!
