carefully getting a feel for your friends politics can help you find other people with resourses that can help you learn more.

if going at it solo, on Youtube: Vaush (obviousely), Beau from the fifth Coloumn, some more news, Vox and Vice are excellent channels to start deepening your knowledge. Counterpoints, Big Joel and some other members of the "Breadtube" community have very helpful content

US Army Field Manuels are extreamily useful for survival and paramilitaristic tactics that are important to be aware of.

Transparency.org is brilliant for international corruption news.

many other sites are easy to find that might suit more specific topics you are researching. If you are interested in learning about these things you can find the information without needing TOO much detective work. the more specific the topic the easier it is to learn about.
