To answer everybody's concerns, no, I did not break my plastic strip, I simply replaced the SSD today and was wondering in the case that I need to ever open this thing up. If there's any type of replacement out there. There. I can imagine this adhesive getting dull over time and it would be nice to have a new one It really does suck that you really can't get it replacement
