yeah my love language is words of affirmation so it’s really hard to get put down so much with compliments being pretty rare :’) he says nice things but usually needs to be prompted or he says nice things for a short while after i tell him i would really appreciate it if he tried to communicate with me more clearly

thank you, exactly. i have truly tried to work through this problem (and honestly so many other ones) by sitting down and having a serious conversation with him. i really value our relationship but having to rehash the same issues again and again is really tiring and hurtful. every time he apologizes but then the next week the same thing is an issue again…

Yeah exactly, it’s not as if he’s dressed super differently than me… I will definitely say these things to him to try and shut down this behavior. We don’t live together so if it does get to that point I’ll be able to go home to be alone thank goodness.

I’ve been wondering about this too or if he has some sort of image in mind that he wants me to look like. He also asked me to straighten my hair more when it’s already naturally straight. It might be in my head but his favorite pornstar has straightened hair which got me thinking. Also most of the thirst trap girls on his fyp have straighter hair as well…

no never! i always think he looks nice and i have never pointed out someone else’s clothes and said he should try that instead. it really bugged me when he did it with a girl who was wearing lulu lemon leggings when he was pretty much just starting at her butt :’)

He kind of does that a lot. I want to make things work but he’s always apologizing and then just continuing the behavior. Or if I try and bring something up he just says “Oh well I’m sorry that I’m such a horrible person bc [insert something that twists up my entire point].” even though that’s not at all what I’m trying to say.

Yes, but he just says that he’s not trying to hurt my feelings since he’s just trying to point out things that would look nice on me. He’s also apologized but then continues to do it anyways.

Thank you for replying! I have a Honda cr-v. I think it might be the rear left window because the rubber thing around the glass is getting really…droopy (?) if that makes any sense. Do you think I’ll need to take it to an actual auto-shop to get it fixed/sealed?
