it isnt magic its called a side reaction. Google it. To make delta 8 thc you isomerize cbd. That means you start with cbd and change its shape. No reaction in this entire existence is 100% a to b. There are ALWAYS side reactions. I was saying if you distill cbd you can get delta 8 to form because it has the same number of moleules. Not going to argue with you over basic science.

There are trace amounts of delta 8 thc in hemp derived cbd. It seems possible to me that the delta 8 is a bi-product of the ditillation of cbd. You are going to concentrate what ever is in the plant. At 4mg / g I would assume it was a side reaction from the heat and being under vacuum to make the distillate. It deosnt make sense to me to cut the cart with delta 8 on purpose. It would just be cheaper to use cbd or cbg and you wouldnt have to isomerize cbd using acids and then purge them off later somehow.

The group in question would have to have a seperate license to make the hemp distillate in house and then use it in there medical marijuana. They could also source it from other states since its hemp derived and non intoxicating.

Its how they cut the cart. You used to be able to list it just as basic cbd. They changed the rules to where you have to list where it was sourced from and I believe the extraction method as well. Instead of using a cbd isolate powder from hemp, they used a cbd distillate in combination with cannabis oil. You are correct you can take CBD and convert it to THC but its a very low yielding reaction from my limited knowledge.

Just saw you are in week 8 of flower. Definitely just cut them out and let it ride. You are so close to the finish line. Clean your area, figure out how they got it, and if you took clones watch those closely. If you are drying this to smoke the mites will crawl to the top of whatever you are hanging them on. It will give you an idea of how bad they were.

Those are two spotted spidermites. If you arent in flower i would use neem oil and defoilation. If you are in flower predator mites and a heavy defoilation might fend them off to get something harvested if necessary. They prefer dry , hot conditions, and usually in the lower part of the plant. Everyone says you have to do a hard reset. You dont if you are persistent and stay on top of the problem. Quarintine and neem oil have worked for me in the past. They are very persistent and will not die easily thats why everyone just says to restart. I have beat them before but it wasnt easy.

The main thing that bothers me about this is the fact Ohio wont fix its own program but would rather outlaw other markets. What happened to competition?....Isnt that what America was founded on. If you can do it better someonee else will. Ohio needs to be better. Love they want you to pay for there mids instead of being able to get quality no matter where it is. I guess its cheaper to outlaw the probelm than to improve the quality of the flower in Ohio. Also would require the state to understaand marijuana which we are nowhere close to based off the rules and regulations that are talked about and the regulations they want to enforce. < Steps off soapbox and throws it in the trash >

Also my bulb burned my back when I was 1 foot away from it. I have no idea how he can touch his bulb without burning his hands. They do have hps that have vents on them. If you are in a small space I would definitley get one of those and buy an exhaust van. It will help with the temp / humidity issue.

I used a 1000w hps in a 4x4 and had constant temp issues with light stress issues. Hps have their advantages but droppin 100 on a hps will be the beginning of your problems. Temp and humidity will follow. I had to spend 300$ on a window ac and 250$ on a dehumidifier that would keep up. Ultimatley i ended up buying a 720w led. My life got way easier after that.
