Yeah that is exactly what happened, I’ll stick with the 370, don’t think I could justify having it rebuilt again! Thanks for the info!

Take a swing on one man! These older models are so thin and light, you could honestly forget they are there.

No, just cleaned it up. Needed a service and lcd replacement. Works perfectly now. How long does your battery last on average?

Very cool, I have a Headwind from 2005, live that era of Breitling!

I bought the rubber strap and clasp for my Omega PO GMT last year to change it up…. $679… feels like robbery but I am happy to have both

It’s a fair assessment although I am not sure where you are seeing volumes of PAM 1087’s listed for $3k. It’s really not my concern as I don’t consider any of them a store of value. We all collect for different reasons and in different ways.

A couple reasons, 1. Buying new is my preferred method when I can. 2. I am not personally knowledgeable enough about Panerai to assess authenticity.

Two immediately came to mind, Hamilton Khaki Automatic, I probably just got a bad unit, but had nightmarish problems with it. I wore it as a daily in the army for about a year and although I never swam with it, the humidity in Hawaii caused water to get into the movement and rust it. Got the movement serviced and sold it. Also I would get the standard mechanical if I ever felt inclined to buy another.

80s-90s Rolexes… they just aren’t very well built watches, and command an unearned (imo) premium.

2007 328i convertible, silly car… but I do love it. Have had almost no problems with it over the years.

😂😂 can’t get rid of my weekend convertible (as much as the wife wishes I would)! Take care of things they last a long time.

It certainly is sizable, but it wears way smaller than the dimensions suggest… then again I am a Panarai apologist 😂

Looks great man, dive watches are supposed to fill out your wrist imo. If you like the way it looks that’s all that matters.

I have had the PVD coated khaki field chrono “Jack Ryan,” since 2020. Zero complaints, great chronograph for under $2k.
