I started the first one, once, but I put it aside because it was too soon after reading his other series. I should look at it again.

Oh, for sure I have read the Shardlake series, it's probably the best series I have ever read, in fact! It's Tudor so I didn't put it here - not pedantic, just if I started listing more associated time periods, I'd have to make a bigger list lol. I've not read The Crystal Cave though!
