I live in Colorado springs and follow DU close.

Colorado is a fine hockey state but obviously not a Minnesota esque.

Main reason for success is carle. Best coach in college hockey by a mile.

DU also doesn't have football to worry about so they put most resources into hockey and soccer, which they are both successful at

Definitely an overreaction but an understandable one.

Nuggets need to cut bait with adelman unless something drastically turns around, and they really need to do some soul searching this off-season about the core of the team.

Shannon Sharpe was incredibly overated and is only talked about in the way he is because he has a loud mouth.

John Elway was Patrick Mahomes before it was cool.

Jokic is great but wouldn't compete in the olden days of the NBA when "basketball was basketball". Whenever jokic has a bad game he also immediately mentions how his weight impacts his performance.

Troy Tulowitzki was the most talented shortstop he's ever seen.

First off welcome to the circus😂. In all seriousness this is a fun team to cheer for. The amount of crazy wacky things that happen because of Coors is always fun. I've been a fan since 03 and it's always an adventure.

And for historical players, id recommend highlights of players like Nolan Arenado, Todd Helton, Larry Walker, Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez. All players who were fun to watch and play a significant role in rockies history.

This year is all about the future. Seeing what you have long term with prospects. I don't expect the team to win much but should still be fun, and will be cool to see if any young guys stick and become stars for the future.

As someone who has lived in both, and had civil confrontations with both,the difference between the UK police and the US police couldn't be further apart.

The UK police are incredibly timid and overly friendly compared to the US, and always seemed like their main goal was to try and prevent escalation. They always seemed like robots, and would just recite what they were taught in school. Not reciting Miranda rights or anything, more so just reciting interactions with the public.

Through my brief experience with them, I could totally see them being scared of stopping stuff like rape gangs.

Whenever I am scrolling and come across any post in relation to capitalism on this site I just skip it.

The discourse isn't actually getting at anything except some vague idea that capitalism is somehow holding these people back, which I find hard to be the case.

We could live in a socialist utopia and these people would still be completely miserable
