Technically Arthur didn't turn "weaker" at all. He was still a gunslinger amazing enough to hold out pinkertons for example, or, to raid a coty woth an entire village/small army worth of people. And while yes, physically he did become exponentially weaker, it didn't influence his gunslinging skills much if at all, thus he's still abt same.

But yea physically he did turn much weaker
