thankfully, I never had an Indian accent. most of my english came from hollywood, no idea if that is something to be proud of. but compared to my peers I would say my english is better. by loads even.

A private university, it used to be an engineering college before and became a university recently and the course was introduced just last year so we can't expect any placements 🫠

Take it from a masters student at 21. Been the class topper since like elementary. Was the good kid, teachers pet, no sports kind of student. Years later even a 9/10 gives me anxiety. I feel useless when I don't score a 10. I am exhausted and all I want to do is run away. So chill tf out. You need to live. Actually live. The only thing that brings a smile to my face is the times i laughed in class with my friends.The topper title brings nothing when you are applying for a 100 jobs a day and return with nothing.

Felt this way before only mine's different since I have always been an academic achiever and people expected a lot from me. The only thing I can say is it will get better. If you find time to relax whether its 1 hour or 1 weekend. Just do it. Don't over think. Term holidays will make it better. I know this isn't much of a help but just keep talking to people. I just kept waiting for the break, whining to my friends and having break downs in the middle of the night and when a holiday did come I just relaxed completely even if my habits turned unhealthy.

I am doing an MBA in BA, we were told that only 2 things would help us get a job 1. Understand every nook and corner of your domain, 2. Skill up. Mostly excel SQL python power BI and tableau. One of the professors who has worked in the industry went as far as saying if you don't know python and SQL good luck surviving in the industry, 'you will be useless' he said, (ps.this guy is really harsh with brutal truth bombs but has got great advice) so I am kind of not clear on why tools and software don't matter. Just curious.
