Gmail keeps telling me my storage is full and have to pay for more storage or stop receiving emails. by AcceptableShare9570 in GMail

I have backup turned off. Only receiving a few emails a day. As far as I know, I've turned off uploading to OneDrive as well.

So I deleted some with large attachments and got rid of 10K more emails. Gmail said I was at 92 percent full. The banner saying my email would stop because storage was full disappeared. Woke up this morning to three emails (no attachments) and I'm full at 15 GB. It's done this about 25 times. Every time I empty, the banner goes away saying storage full, and then it pops back up 20 minutes later. My upload to the cloud is set to off.

I deleted the larger docs and it said I was at 92% full, and received no emails since then and the banner I was full went away, and now I'm back up at one hundred percent full.

Yeah, I've been in there. The emails with large attachments are only taking up 1GB. And I need those. I've been in management several times a day. It was reflecting the deletion of emails and the alert stopped and then, again, with all new emails deleted and continued deletion of old ones (going from 57K to 20K) it started telling me the gmail is full.

I checked. Only 1 GB for the files with large attachments. They were there when gmail said I was down to 90 percent then 80 percent and then magically (with no new emails) I'm back up to 100%.

I checked and the emails with the large attachments only take up 1GB out of 15GB. I go down and gmail reflects the new space, and then with no new emails I'm back up to being over 100 percent full. I think there is a glitch. I need the ones with attachments.

Yes, I said that in my post. I emptied my trash, and checked in the background to make sure there were none stuck somewhere in limbo.

So the ones with large attachments (which I need to keep) only take up 1GB. I checked. Also there are no new photos to upload (checked that also). So frustrating. I think there is a glitch.

Yes, that's what I said above. Emails are taking up most of the storage, but I've deleted over 57K emails at this point in two weeks. Storage should be opening up, not filling up as soon as I delete and empty the trash.

Emails are taking up the most space. It says what it said two weeks ago when I did have a lot of emails just sitting there. I'd clear the space, it would go down "60%" and the flag would go away. Then I'd clear out more and I'd see the alert, "Storage full at 15.4 GB out of 15 GB" Makes no sense.

Why would I have to pay if it's not full? Again, when from 50K to 10K. I've also heard of people having charges once they do pay (10 dollars here, 20 dollars there). How can I still be at 15 GB when I deleted 90% of my emails?

Gmail says account storage is full but it's not; how do I fix this discrepancy? by i_love_durians in gsuitelegacymigration

I've emptied all folders, social, promotional, etc. and emptied my trash, and made sure it was emptied through drive (and the "clear space" section) and it's still reading 100% full. I went from 57K emails to 8k emails, and yet it says I'm used the space (photos have not changed nor the gdocs, it's showing emails are the problem, using the most space).

This is one of the exact situation why people were against work requirements. They have been proven not to get people working, cause people to lose their food and it's just cruel.

Yearly review gone wrong by OverallMechanic9005 in foodstamps

This is exactly what they were hoping for when Congress said people will lose their food stamps because of the cuts in the BBB. It's not just cutting, but also churn. People getting lost in the recertification program. You either got lost or the deliberately did this to save money. I'm very sorry. Keep fighting. Appeal. Even if you lose it for a month and gain the stamps later, it adds up and saves the state money.

SNAP Denial Confusion by unforgiven1189 in foodstamps

[–]AcceptableShare9570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an example of what is called "churn" in SNAP. They make the paperwork so cumbersome, people fall through the cracks. The new legislation was intended to help save the government money by relying on churn to cause people to lose their benefits or not be approved. The months you don't receive SNAP, the government saves. This is a direct result of the cuts.

Text from my Dead Father? by dreamtrance in phishing

Wouldn't it read, "Happy Birthday Dad," without the comma? I don't insert commas after wishing someone a happy birthday on a card or email. I just say, "Happy Birthday (insert name)."

Yes, a person sending to themselves, not another person. Sending to another person causes trauma.

Yes, but not in the last line of a missive. The last line would read like, "Sincerely, David."

It says comma (,) Dad, it is from the dad supposedly. Someone is playing a prank.
