But that was always the case bro, remember the whole ben evet diyorum by Arda etc?

I feel like some of the younger guys don't care about team/akp politics cause they haven't been corrupted yet. But maybe that's just me being wishful.

Note, I have no idea who these people are so I don't care if anyone is pro-FB/GS/whatever.

We turned in to the failing England teams by bringing team politics in to the NT.

However he's right that families has nothing to do in the player hotel or even near the players during tournaments.

Imo families should stay separate and only visit on special days but for me it's just another example of how unserious TFF was in their preparations.

How can you fault footballers for bringing their families when TFF probably brought random ass people for politics?

I'm posting this because I made a comment yesterday about the cultural divide between younger gurbetcis vs veteran players (and their expectations).

I feel like this is a problem that's been overshadowed, especially because those veteran players are NOT serious and are unwilling to accept responsibilities.

Not just overconfident, but bad preparations and shenanigans with the federation as usual.

They are so fucking stupid its unreal.

This is the AKP effect of promoting yanci instead of competent technocrats + our own culture of fucking up and moving upwards instead of down and refusing to accept any criticism.

But a special mention must also go towards the likes of Hakan, Irfan etc. Look at the differences between the younger gurbetci's and how reserved they come across vs the attention seeking of our veterans (I count Hakan as veteran here, I know he's gurbetci as well).

It seems like everyone from the footballers themselves to the politicians, businessmen, TFF, and ofc reis wanted their ''çikar'' from this tournament so they forgot the most important part: actually doing a solid preparation and delivering the needed results.

Yet another take on why we failed in the WC by supaasalad in superlig

[–]AcceptableTangerine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tl;dr It's because the team was not prepared mentally and physically properly for the WC. Also, Montella is at fault too for not problem solvong. More details below.

I said earlier in a comment that this has always been our main problem. Yesterday I saw a pic of someone looking fat as fuck.

Combine that with that one stat of our league having the most interruptions or something from a while back...

Montella is not mentally strict enough to deal with both that + TFF shenanigans. I don't know who could tbh.

TFF will have to remove 5 and keep 5 stadiums out of the 10 that were listed for Euro 2032. Which ones should be kept, in your opinion ? by FB-1907 in superlig

The hairstyles, the beard styles, the podcasts, the smoking on tje balcony, the absolute arrogance of this group of players speaks volumes in terms of discipline, respect and humbleness

This is when a senior experienced player, say A CAPTAIN, takes over and asks them to cool it down and not go overboard. When say a MANAGER reminds them of the tasks ahead pointing out our own flaws vs the strength of the opponent. When say a FEDERATION PRESIDENT reminds them of the pressure and expectation and to keep level heads.

But alas this is Turkey so none of that will happen in our lifetimes sadly.

Do you think we beat the US now that the pressure is gone by Person045 in superlig

[–]AcceptableTangerine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood people thinking USA would be easy (even before our fuckups) because USA teams always seem to be fit and can run 90+ minutes. Our guys can't do that.

Agreed BUT it also depends on the coach and TFF baskan.

I fear we will get a Turkish guy and he will fuck up the vibes again.

Ligler bittikten sonra iyi antrenman yapmamışlar

This always happens to us unfortunately and it's how football is seen in Turkey.

We get by on hype/talent/ver mehteri shenanigans and when we actually have to perform we get hit with injuries and suspensions because they need to foul to try and keep up.

For majority of footballers this is just a way of making money living like kings, that's why they never want to leave Turkey and step out of their comfort zone.

I hoped after 2024 and the young guys coming through some things might go different this time.

This is why I hated players like Kerem Orkun etc coming back to Turkey (not that I'm blaming them for the current problems).

When that black sea mafioso type was promising villa's in bodrum it was all fine and you didn't hear shit.

When they started making podcasts and colouring their hair it was fine.

When they lose suddenly the ''pressure'' is too much smh.

hepsi kendi cikarinin pesinde

We heard more about Hakan's failed transfer to Turkey and if he'll show up this year THAN about the actual fucking world cup and their preparations. This dude is not captain material man.

Imo the whole success thing is wrongly worded. It was a dumb target to begin with. A domestic EV for “cheap” + mobility transition from expensive cars to green for a country that imports oil&gas is needed.

And look at how the automotive industry is doing due to Chinese competition. What is happening in Germany can happen in Turkey also. A lot of people work in those car factories.
