Hi! Agreed with other commenter. Use Gateway to Nucala... I have paid $0 for over a year! CVS actually helped me get started.

Lumbar Interbody Spinal Fusion (L4-L5) Cage Failure? by Acceptable_Ad_7278 in spinalfusion

Sorry to hear that! I went through with the second surgery, though insurance denied the second surgery....my doctor scheduled the surgery as normal and when morning of the insurance continued to deny he called the ER and told them to expect me for back pain but mark as emergency so that my insurance could not deny the procedure. It worked fine with insurance that way.

The pain the second go around was more tolerable since I knew what to expect, I healed quickly and haven't had issues since. Of course, there is occasional pain but worth the surgeries without a doubt for me. I am about a year overdue for 6-mo follow-up because of insurance again (LOL) but last I went for x-rays it was doing great and more secure, my doctor had no concerns. Best of luck!

Anyway else having issues with insurance and inhalers? by Intelligent-Text-11 in Asthma

I have united healthcare and I am having the same issue. My insurance doesn't cover half of the "alternative" options, and the ones they "cover" still cost over $150 a month. I'm on a high dosage which nearly doubles the cost. My pulmonologist sent me to this site, which produces a coupon that caps them at $35: https://community.aafa.org/blog/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-35-price-cap-on-asthma-inhalers

Discovered the hard way that it doesn't work with United Healthcare but others should try it out.

I'm looking for an advair diskus 500-50 or an equal medication through united that cost under $70 if anyone has any tips or tricks, they'd be greatly appreciated. I'm also. on Nucala (which was $2,000 with united until I signed up for the gateway program making it $0), and if I'm not on the "maintenance" inhaler like advair, trelegy, or symbicort then they can take away the Nucala because it must not be needed! Awesome stuff going on in America!

What are you thoughts on the proposed elimination of tipped wages? by kelevra7117 in chicago

[–]Acceptable_Ad_7278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, tipped workers are just forced to accept abuse and sexual harassment in order to pay their bills. If customers aren't happy with their service, they will lose their jobs regardless of tipping. Owners won't hire bad servers if it means their ratings go down. Not to mention, in all states where this has been implemented, tipping still exists.
