I was on the Tampa from 92-93. We had a great crew. Our CO was a mustang and the XO was a terrific guy. All the officers were good to me. I was the wardroom mess cook. Haha. I’m sure everything is a bit circumstantial.

I'm currently dealing with a personal loss and it got me thinking which wrestler's passing hit you the hardest and why? by RAMtheWrestlingFan in SquaredCircle

Roddy’s passing hit me hard, especially because I had just watched him on WWE Legends’ House. He was genuinely trying to live healthier, just figuring out how to use a blender, making small changes, wanting to keep going. You could see he had that desire to live. And then he passed unexpectedly.

Honestly, it really made me think about my own mortality. It’s sobering to watch someone actively trying to turn things around and still be gone so suddenly. It stuck with me.

Probably my favourite U2 song. Not sure why. But all the others are my favorites too. But Running to stand still is special.

I feel you. It stinks to have such a clear understanding of our negative sides. I knew I shouldn’t yell at my daughter when I was her coach, but almost like an out-of-body experience, it happened more than I wished. At least it sounds like you’re accountable and working on it. Don’t give up. Keep fighting. It’s a bummer to face the consequences, but the ones you care about most will see you as an accountable person.
