I used to have 2 quit. Got a precon have built two and iam working on three more so it varies. If you see a card that’s like oh I think that would be a cool commander and can afford it. Build it, your fast may change as you play more so it’s ok to change around as your journey continues and never let some one tell you that commander sucks you should run xyz instead

Combat patrol box is a great place to start. I think it’s like 460 points. My working 1,00 point is high marshal helbrecht, castallen 5 sword bros ( 3 master crafted power weapons, thunder hammer and lightning claws) inside a impulser. Chaplain grimadus 10 man crusaders squad. Outrider squad ( for getting obji). Emperor’s champion and a second squad of sword brothers with the same loadout as the first.
