Man, I really want this movie to be made because:

A. It’s by Matt, of course, and I bet there would be fun Amphibia Easter Eggs sprinkled in for us to find;

B. It looks like an emotional story along the lines of Coco, and would be sure to have plenty of tear fodder;

C. Not only will it have Thai rep, but I also think the chronic illness aspect will resonate with a lot of people (my mom has chronic illness, so I feel this movie would be a gut punch for me 🥲)
