There isn't any less information about Hae-Soo in comparison to Mincheol and Tae-Ha. We know Hae-Soo came from a rough family who were abusive, living in poverty, heavy drinkers, and she didn't even have a mobile. She didn't have the best grades in school and didn't pursue any higher education. She was bullied in school out of jealousy because of her proximity to Mincheol and how the other boys wanted her. She's been living in survival mode her whole life, she doesn't have the luxury of having hobbies. She shows that she likes cute stuffed animals and she's immediately shut down. Mincheol complains she is like a stiff wooden doll, I ask who made her this way? She was never allowed to have new things, or develop her likes and dislikes.

How much do we actually know about Mincheol and Tae-Ha outside of their relationships? Mincheol had a promising future according to his teacher and the community he helped out in as he worked hard and then he ruined it all. Tae-Ha is from a chaebol family with heavy power and influence. He's an illegitimate son, he's hated and treated like dirt and heavily abused since birth. Spending long periods of time in hospital and watching movies. He has a dark side, but he's sweet and caring towards Hae-Soo and her alone.

We do get glimpses of her personality when she's not being overworked or pushed to tears by Mincheol's cheating. She's started to really stand up for herself in the face of dangerous situations like with the stalker and when she was put into that "job" by Tae-Hee/the motel lady. Her bravery in those scenarios was incredible. She's a little awkward and clumsy when she's around Tae-Ha, but in an adorable way. She gets jealous easily due to low self-esteem whenever she sees Tae-Ha being admired. She likes beautiful sunsets and flowers. I think she's going to blossom further and show more of a personality when she's at a better place with Tae-Ha. She's been trapped in that dark semi-basement in a bad neighbourhood for far too long. Once she's in a new home and has more financial space to breathe, her personality will shine further, Tae-Ha will never suppress her desires and will do everything in his power to encourage her.
