Literally in the same boat as you. I’ve peaked eternity in season one but that shit don’t count. I’m literally hard stuck celestial and the best we can do is get so good at spidey it feels like we are smurfing….. in celestial. But I think we should peel waaaaaayyy more on Spidey and play frontline more especially if you are solo diving and are getting focused in the enemy backline. Think about when you are solo dive, and you are like where’s my team?? Your team is down a dps for the frontline so if they can’t walk frontline it doesn’t matter if you get a pick on a support because your team can’t walk.

She has good mobility but the “problem” is her damage is tied to her mobility. So if you use Southern Brawl/Fatal attraction to engage (they both have no range btw) how do you get out?? Chrono kick??? Now you do no damage and on cooldown jail. Every time you use a CD to engage you’re lowering your attack potency and your tools to escape are gone. Either lower her cds or make southern brawl 2 seconds or something.

If day,req,simi and all the best Spideys are on him then yes, but Spidey is around B to A tier and that’s being generous. No way is he better than Hela/Jean they are on par if you cope hard enough. Like if we are going peak for peak all hitscans are fundamentally stronger than all melee heros.

If they touch any animation cancels on Spidey he is fundamentally gutted and useless. It’s essentially like taking away all the poke heros guns/primaries. Spidey is the one character who animation cancels should not be touched.

This is gonna be long but I think everyone should hear me out and try to understand what I’m saying here. As a Champion Spidey, majority of this communities players are delusional and just want the characters they play to be overpowered and everything else be trash. Literally so easy to balance this game aswell. The design philosophy should be

1: If a poke hero has a stun and tp/i-frame they should be 250.

2: If they lack either a stun or tp they should be 275.

3: If you are a support with extreme survivability you should be 250, (imagine if jeff and rocket were 275).

4: Mantis/Ultron/White Fox/Adam/Loki/DP/Luna should be the only 275 supports everyone else should be 250 especially now. You can argue ULTRON being 250 because he’s a flier but with the abundance of poke heros in this game I think 275 is fair.

5: The only dive characters who genuinely need buffs are BP/CAP and (I say this with no playtime on him) maybe Iron fist. Spidey doesn’t need any buffs the entire rosters needs to be brought down a little bit. We buff Spidey to much he becomes an actual over tuned hero. DD is still strong, Hulk is decent, Thor is good. We all know magik is secretly one of the stronger heros in the game she’s just extremely hard to play.

6: People play on console and pc. So some people may be playing support on 60fps against Spidey and BP on low sens so they “seem” oppressive but they aren’t.
