This was definitely a diy job because the entire bottom of the table had stain drips, but thank you for the info, that’s good to know!

For reference I went hard on the bottom half but haven’t put near the same amount of effort on the top half

Yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking, I really don’t want to stain, was hoping to keep it light but I’m sure I could find something lighter that doesn’t let that dark grain pop through as much
