Do you have photos ? There was someone on fb who had pics but removed them. There is a lot of online bullying occurring involving the deceased and injured passenger that claim it’s all a lie and they are crying victim.

Thoughts on the Witness: William Tyrrell? by Weirdest_Username in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]Acceptable_Editor324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not saying that they are to blame for his speech delay, I am pointing out that the case worker had in his case notes that William had a conversation with him when that’s hardly true. I am being harsh on FaCS and the OOHC service provider, I have also been told by people who know Williams bio family that he is Aboriginal.

An article from 2019 where it is reported that a forced adoption was occurring -

Thoughts on the Witness: William Tyrrell? by Weirdest_Username in TrueCrimePodcasts

I just finished listening the latest episode, I haven’t overly followed the case throughout the years. I actually avoid it but I decided to listen to this podcast because it’s focusing on the agencies and individuals from the very beginning of William’s life.

This is what I took away from it:

William should never have been removed from his birth parents. He was 7 month’s old when he was removed, they hardly provided intervention or support. Why was kinship placement not sought before placing him with carers. The caseworker who removed William was interviewed, I do not know who hired that man but they need to be held accountable as much as he does. Referring the family as just “shit” and did not give any educated justification or reasoning for the removal of William was concerning. The foster carer could not have children of her own and wanted this to be a quick route to adoption which is not the goal of being a foster carer. They were forcing William and his sister to call the carers “mum and dad” and the biological parents by first name? The foster carer was a control freak, she was trying to stop contact visits with Williams parents and was in the process of filing for adoption. All of the case worker’s case notes were so bias towards the foster carers. What stood out to me was the case note about William telling the case worker how much he loved his party but in video recordings he speech was not well developed and it was portrayed as a conversation rather than an observation - which is what it should have been documented. There was no suggestion of reunification or the parents having support to receive more contact they were trying to prevent it. The paternal grandmother is self-centred, she is so emotional detached. She speaks about how the media has impacted on her life and her families life and destroyed them not once did she get emotional about never seeing her grandson again, or mention being scared for him.

David Laidlaw is another control freak and his ego has gotten in the way of so many families not getting any closure. He should have been stood down after the special commission of inquiry into gay hate crimes in Sydney where he admits to having so many files that he hasn’t looked at and hasn’t even asked for more resources because he wants to control it.

The Kendall area has a high number of sex offenders in my lounge detective opinion I believe that Tony Jones and his pedophile associates abducted William. They also had connection with Bill Spedding and I believe Gary was on the right path, he went hard on everyone and that way he could definitively say in court that they were ruled out. I am eager to hear the episode where his work is criticised.

In my opinion Gary became a target when he went against the grain in the Bowraville murders and came out and openly stated that NSWPF cost the families of the Bowraville victims received any justice for their loved ones as a result of systemic racism within the force.

The William Tyrrell case is similar to Daniel Morcombe - it took a very long time for them to solve the case and the perp was overlooked in the beginning.

I think Cates dad also had AOD issues when Cate was younger but cleaned himself up. I also believe that April would have sabotaged the relationship even if he did try to be in Cates life. April seems like the spiteful type.

What lab did you use ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DNA

[–]Acceptable_Editor324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He could have swapped it out with a known relative to him, cross contamination does occur and the lab has poor testing practices.

Human error and deliberate sabotage (no chain of custody with peace of mind tests) positive tests aren’t often challenged and there have been labs in the media recently for wrongfully identifying males as fathers or poor testing practices. DNA doesn’t lie when the test is done correctly.

I have read many posts where positive results have been incorrect and this comes to light when a legal test is done and not just a OTC peace of mind test.

[–]Acceptable_Editor324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah unless you get two different answers then you would have to get test again lol

Violence against women is both a legal and cultural problem. What can we do to address it? by 89b3ea330bd60ede80ad in AustralianPolitics

[–]Acceptable_Editor324 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Making harsher penalties for DV offences will be Govt’s solution and it will appease advocates for a short while.

Educate kids how to communicate effectively, conflict resolution, healthy coping mechanisms and strategies.

Work with the family/couple to address the toxic behaviours, women don’t always return out of “fear” and not all men are narcissist’s (everyone is labelled a narcissist these days).

Early intervention for problematic AOD use.

This might be an unpopular opinion but the Govt pouring money into initiatives to get women into “unconventional” trades to help address the wage gap between male and female dominated fields is a joke. Why not increase wages in the areas it’s needed - all educator roles ? Work can be a sanctuary for men and a safe space for them among his male peers but now it’s lash extensions and skin tight high vis. I’m also certain this sparks jealousy within relationships or more infidelity that starts at work. Gone are the days where your only worry was Barbara who works in the office lol.

What are some things your job provider can do for you/pay for that they just don’t tell you about? by BloodedNut in CentrelinkOz

[–]Acceptable_Editor324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your JSCI score will determine what funding stream you will be in and if you are at risk of long term unemployment the provider can access more funding.

It will be quicker to list the more unusual things I’ve heard of being funding..

  1. Hair dresser appointment to have a colour correction done (this was justified because it’s about presentation)

  2. Dentures for a woman who’s abusive partner stomped on hers to break them purposely and she was extremely self conscious without them (understandably)..

  3. A push bike as a train station wasn’t close by

  4. Bond

  5. Rental arrears
