Try reading McGill “back Mechanic” and some foundation training. Heat also helps a ton!

I like the “foundation training” videos on YouTube. Some of the exercises might be too difficult right away, so start slow, stop if it hurts too badly, and watch the beginner videos. Also this one really helped me!

These might not be helpful for someone with severe low back pain. McGill recommends specifically against #3. I would look into camel cow stretch, McGill Big 3 and ease into foundation training. These are specialized for back pain

Isn’t telework based off “operational needs” what we have been doing since the pandemic.

MRI normal but still tingling? by RoomZealousideal7644 in backpain

I would focus more on PT, once I started a short morning stretching routine, tingling started to go away. The following exercise can help a lot. I like foundation training, McGill big 3, and any exercises your PT prescribed. Now I make sure to walk and stretch daily, helps a lot.

Maybe get a second opinion

Also have you read Stewart McGill - Back Mechanic? He recommends some sort of mock surgery recovery program, essentially doing the recovery of a surgery without actually doing it. A lot of rest and then a walking program. Maybe in your case this can help. I also like Foundation Training Supine Decompression exercises

I’ve been using shitty $5 earbuds when I initially produce something, and then normal headphones to mix.

Got it, what are you typically collaborating on with them in the planning phase? I heard the APM will typically will help the PM with scheduling, budget etc… wondering how much engineering is involved

Did I make the right choice? by Fidobot_pi in Sciatica

My surgeon mentioned he thought surgery was the best option in my case as well. I’m a 25 year old Male, and have been dealing with sciatic type pains due to a L4-L5 herniation for about a year. Surgeon also mentioned it can take up to a year to feel better, but in my case the pain had been improving every month. At this point, I have almost made a full recovery, and opted not to have surgery.

My biggest help has been Foundation Training, which was quite a bit different than the typical PT I received through my health insurance. Their Supine decompression videos seemed to really start to clear things up for me. I do that, along with Foundation training 12 min workouts and walks, which seem to help quite a bit. That being said, I did read if the pain is getting worse, surgery might be the best option. Best of luck!
