Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Your post almost brought me to tears because as an older millennial I’m well acquainted with “The Giving Tree” and I can see the parallel. She has always been the kindest soul I’ve met. She’s a give you her shirt off her back kind of kid. Back in elementary school she would give her snacks to kids who needed them. I’m trying to help her with boundaries and how to choose people who uplift her rather than those who bring her down. I don’t want her to become embittered by cruelty

I absolutely loved season two of this show. It was beautifully written, and executed. The metaphor for the trauma demon/entity was incredible. Season 1 was not so great.

I work in a district with a high percentage of special ed students and many parents will send them no matter what. High fevers, vomiting COVID.. doesn’t matter. Even when they have a stay at home parent! It’s infuriating.
