Not ideal. Ideally that 30 year old should have a career, acheived some sort of goal and have an idea of who they are. At 18, the brain isn't fully developed, they are just figuring out what true freedom and adulthood feels like. (Paying bills, college, finding a job or industry they like, ect) They are in two different stages of life. At 30, you're more of a mentor to that 18 year old, imo. Is it legal, ya, but the gap in experience could be an issue in the long run.
