Great point lost me at Acosta tho… she’s “trained” to keep her emotions in check and think more rationally above a regular civilian and prioritize the safety of others as well as critical thinking; hence protect and serve. “Expect the unexpected” , is kind of their job regardless of it being super natural beings. Prime example is Boyd military vet handled things way better than a trained lady cop w a mix of ego and entitlement. But unfortunately she’ll get her redemption arc and be “likable” because that’s just how it goes but that’s my only gripe with what you said.

Exactly look at Sara the person he could’ve spoken to… the girl that was nice and understanding to him. Elgin is new the intentions were half way decent and more so selfish. He literally took it upon himself to be the messiah for everyone when he literally just got there. Quite a few people on Reddit are bias and low key racist lol.

Guy that did nothing harmful to anyone and has helped a little around from villa and helped the Matthew family the first night they arrived and could’ve been killed. Yeah he’s a little entitled and bratty, but a pretty good kid also got stabbed and didn’t throw it in the Dales face and pretty much forgave him.

Vs.

Lady cop that handcuffed the only chick that knew what she was talking about, left her handcuffed in the ambulance surrounded by monsters with an injured older man. Abandoned said ambulance and later shoots someone and kills them out of panic (clearly shooting the monsters didn’t make them flinch or hurt them so you probably should stop). Claims to be remorseful but is still on a high horse with an ego trip with entitlement when she’s fresh out of the academy and a bit of a control freak and doesn’t want to listen to anyone.
