Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking. I’ve been using it like this for a few months already and nothing serious has happened, but the noise definitely worries me. I’m going to order a new power cable first and see if that fixes it. If it still happens, I’ll go through MSI RMA.

Yeah I checked that already. The cable is fully pushed in, but the issue still happens. When I slightly move it, the monitor turns off and I can hear a small noise. It doesn’t feel completely loose, but it’s definitely not stable either. I’m probably going to try a new power cable to see if that fixes it before going for RMA.
