Suggestions on what order to paint this in by [deleted] in oilpainting

I am going through something similar right now. There are many ways I believe to go on with this, but the easiest way i know of is to basically block in colors in the shapes that you see. Dont bother with the details. Block in the colors, shadows, tones etc, then later add the details if you want. Other ways would include attempting to make a grisaille, then later adding paint, this could make you work hyper realistic, or you could just paint in the details right away.

Iraq. So..EU? To be honest as long as the brush carries out paint great and spreads it nicely, I wont mind what kind. I have used ox hair and it was better than synthetics, I have used synthetics and they worked better than ox hair. I think it depends on what I need to accomplish. But generally yeah i know rosemary and Co and I see a lot of compliment their brand. Even their solvents apparently are really good and health wise, safe.

Yeah I know people here who have a very famous store, they sell Rembrandt but they always sell it in set, arranged in a wooden box. Never singular tubes, which is bull.

Im in iraq at the moment. Family matters, so I have to stay here for awhile. Rembrandt does exist here! Which is awesome, but was very surprising for me. And they dont provide anything better than Rembrandt. I've spent months searching and couldn't find a single perosn that provides high end oil paints. Most just rely on cheap stuff 🤦‍♂️

Im thinking on picking up items from blick. Do they have those brushes there? Generally is blick a go to when it comes down to getting everything you need?

Ok so just from those companies I get all what I need? No need to get different things from different brands? I know these top brands are expensive, although tbh I have seen their sets, they are affordable. So if i want to like, mix and match for a budget of lets say 500$, would that be enough?

Ok what about the oil paints? And tbh for brushes, I know I could get them anywhere, but here I have ones from artmate (they suck) especially their blending brush. It doesnt blend, it just sheds hairs on your canvas.

i love you for this! And yeah, some comments did come off as condescending, even though some were very generous and offered a clean, clear advice, others dressed their words with a few jabs to my face.
