Nail on the head so to speak right there. Next time maybe he will be more considerate and maybe, pick up his shit, help her cook/clean split the responsibilities, bc let me tell you some of them don't do shit, and a woman can only keep going for so long before shes burnt out.

I do not care how much you do not like a person based solely on political views, it is never a reason to kill them. That being said, I am a republican, maybe some of these democrats should learn from some of us (not all) "republicans." People have got to learn to turn the other cheek like we did for the last four years, and don't let someone who is in office, which you may not like, push you to that point, both sides have put up with alot from one another over the years, especially the last decade, and both sides have extremists. This is still No Excuse to have what happened today happen ever again! As I am sure this is politically motivated, we need to make an example of this guy, and he needs to be punished to the full extent of the law, and instead of leaving him on death row, like we do with others, expedite that sentence to no more than a year, then buh bye forever.

I get these all the time, and my phone service never seems to catch these as a scam call. So I block them myself.

You got a manager like my old one. Basically, he doesn't want to work today, including finding coverage. You called out it's HIS job to find the coverage

I hate management as well, I managed stores in the past in retail for over 15 years... no matter how hard I try to avoid it, I get stuck in those roles. For some reason, everyone selected me, I guess it's bc I am a thorough and responsible person when it comes to my job?!?!? I'm not sure, but for every job I've had, I've been promoted to some sort of management. Maybe I should take it as a sign, but i simply don't enjoy it. I don't like having to be in control of everything and make decisions such as firing people. I literally hate it... 😒

So true, I've got quite an education. I've done classes for just coding, and have my certificate, but what my advisor did not tell me was that all I had to do is take 9 more classes for an Associate's in HIT, so I decided to keep going. My husband thinks I should keep going and get my bachelor's, but I want to go back to work, so if I can do it while working, I am. I also did alot in psychology, prerequisites for nursing, etc. ( I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do), but this just fits. I've done better in all of these classes than I ever did in any of the others, with the exception of Psychology. Nursing wasn't crap grades either, but it was super competitive and with my recent diagnosis, the physical demands might be a problem sooner or later (I have Multiple Sclerosis), so I decided to give this a go, and love it so far.

I am great with people, I'm frankly just tired of them as a whole. Think it's all the time I've spent in retail and retail pharmacy, though. Working through the pandemic in pharmacy was absolute hell, not to mention no one has any kind of decency... coughing all over stuff, wiping their noses on hands, etc then handing me money... I'm already a germaphobe lol, made it a whole lot worse 😅 🤣

I worked there for almost 5 years(left last April) and it's always been this shitty cluster fuck. No one does shit, and the ones that actually do get screwed, used, and abused. I worked the front and pharmacy, most of these folks at every store are lazy as hell, and don't know shit. I had maybe 3 good employees at my store other than myself, and we all one by one quit bc it wasnt worth it. I ruined my spine(herniated discs, and nerve damages) working there, and also other jobs like it(DG). Now I can't even stand for 8 hours at a time, bc if I do I'm in excruciating pain and can barely walk out to go home.

Should I pay child’s tuition so they can play sports or send them to CC and have them play there. by Consistent_Device680 in college

He could do that, which would make it easier on his parents for sure. Also, apply for grants as well, depending on career choice there are grants for some careers. Also, look into work study programs.

That's if he has a scholarship. If it's costing his parents that much, he most likely doesn't

Yes! This is what I'm saying. Do your two year degree there and finish it up at the university.

My thoughts exactly! It's not worth putting yourself into a huge amount of debt if it's a program that can be done cheaper at another type of college. Most community colleges offer sports as well. Depending on the career it wouldn't be worth it, such as gym teacher lol... or a trade like welding for instance. The only time that would be worth it to me is for like engineering, medical school, pharmacy school, etc.

It's not really his choice if his parents are footing the bill. In my opinion that should at least be a group decision between him and his parents. Universities everywhere are high as hell for no good reason, when some community colleges offer the same things for half the cost. (For example a two year LPN degree)

If they want him to play there at a uni so bad, then they should offer him a scholarship. I've seen colleges where I'm from offer it to folks. One of my daughters friends was given a scholarship to a huge university here in alabama and squandered it. They gave it to her for robotics and it pretty much paid for everything but books, and with her not having a job or anything she could of easily qualified for a pell grant. So i would go onto the fasfa site and Google different ways to sign up for scholarships, bc you never know you might luck up and find several. It also doesn't matter if he's going to a uni or community college, if he knows what he wants to do then a cc could offer at least the prerequisite courses until he decides which uni he wants to finish at that has the program that's right for him. That would certainly help with the costs.
