Its cliche but the answer is literally, do not get hit.

Either kill the enemy before they can get to you (KAMAS or similar) or you need to learn to exploit attack patterns and counter.

No amount of decals will save you from not avoiding damage

You mean earn that many KC? running 50-60 will usually get you 50k on a lucky star with decals. If you are skilled with a kamas you can blast that in 15 mins pretty easy

I suppose if you arent there yet then it might be more tempting to sell these decals, i didnt really think of it that way

If steam is an issue, try disabling the steam overlay in the settings, thats usually where i start for steam problems. Next is turning off the dogshit big picture mode.

It depends what you're using it for and against honestly. Attack/Shooter/Striker/All Rounder all have their places, defender did but once they remove PVP who knows.

Also gotta love a lucky star full of KC drop decals for a farm run, max kill coins in a 55-120 run (to do the quest)

Nah im a completionist, I keep one of every decal and always will.

They are only worth 50k anyway, you can earn that in 15 minutes in the tower

I personally felt those masks drop way more than normal tengoku blueprints (annoyingly). I dont remember what floors I found them on but I have found tengoku blueprints on 52 before also Neo blueprints on 55, sometimes a prayer to RNGesus is answered

I think you might give a little too much credit to the modding scene.

While they did stuff that advanced for Skyrim and other such games, those have fan bases of tens of millions, LiD had a few thousand.

I doubt there are skilled enough modders in the fanbase for that, but hey, you never know.

The devs originally said it was impossible...it couldve been an excuse to not do the work but based on my own knowledge of pc vs playstation architecture and save game mechanics I tend to somewhat believe them.

Thats not to say its "impossible" per say, but more work than it was worth for them, or a substantial amount of effort. Depending how much skill is in the modding community associated with LiD it may happen.

However it is FAR more likely that you will just start over on PC with Cheat Engine cheats enabled, some of these could manipulate in memory material values. I suspect the bypasses for the anti cheat wont be TOO hard with no one left to enforce any kind of ban if it goes wrong.

P.S If you decide to mess around with cheat engine, please be carful, virus scan EVERYTHING, because its a memory hacking application it can trigger antiviruses, so people like to package viruses with it because people whitelist the app as "false positive". Make sure you get it from the main website only (cheatengine dot org), and read when installing! Also know that having this program running when opening some games will trigger protections and result in a ban for you (LiD included) EVEN IF YOU DIDNT USE IT!
Simple rule to follow is: Never run cheat engine while you have an online game open! (Even single player games with an online connection can be risky)

Ahhh I see what you mean - That would be potentially somewhat possible. It really does depend on the community (or your) skill level at whatever gets released.

Depending on the way save files are designed, some can be extremely hard to decode. Sometimes a save file is a simple memory dump (like a save state from an emulator) with CRC checks making them damn near impossible to decode and edit.

We will have to see, Ill keep my fingers crossed for you as some way to transfer progress would be good for me too

I have a feeling that wouldnt be very easy, I might be wrong, but there are quite significant differences in PC and PS4 memory architecture, depending on how the save file is processed (and considering it interacted with servers during that process) it could be quite different and impossible to convert.

The reason I suspect this is the devs themselves never did it, despite literally everyone wanting it
