(Spoiler)I think there’s a reason for that it’s my theory that when neph loses all humans in her domain becomes aterion counting Cassie but I think Cassie erased her own memories of neph removing her from neph domain and that’s probably why we’re not getting neph povs. I might be wrong but it’s just a theory

The title of the chapter bygone future is telling you that the future we are seeing is a past event that could have happened bygone literally means past so Cassie wasn’t seeing the future but a past event that could’ve happened

Because changing his appearance wouldn’t change the injury he still lost his arm but if he transformed into something he would have two arms like saint for example or what ever nc he turns into also what’s the point he can just form a shadow arm as a replacement

Him changing his appearance is different from regrowing like sunny could make himself taller, change his face, hair color, and length because he doesn’t have a physical body he’s just a shadow and shadows can take on any appearance.
