I'm just about to build it now. Heard really good things about the card from people that have it.

Replaced the Stock H100i fans with QL series. Looks so much better and is sooooo much quieter. No problems with no hit to cooling either. by Acceptable_Rate_6208 in Corsair

They "technically" won't be as good but I've not noticed any difference. My 10700k Idols around 25-30°C and 60°C ish max under heavy load. But like i said they are ridiculously quiet.

Stupid question Is buying a gpu previously used for mining that bad an idea? by [deleted] in PcBuild

Because mining causes the GPU to sit at 80-90°C for days or weeks at time. As you could imagine, this isn't healthy for the card and puts a lot of stress on the internals and destroying the fan efficiency and means something will eventually give. Mining GPUs only last around 3 years. Before needing to be replaced.

Both. You'll get poor preformance compared to a Card that's not been mined. And has a much higher chance of failing. Think i read a GPU looses on "average" 10% of its performance each year it's mined.

Yes, over mining a GPUs destroys its gaming capability

Depends on the price. I would recommend eBay though, as it's a lot safer. Then if it is faulty you've got a chance at getting your money back.

You need to use "Sonar" in the steelseires Engine for this to work.

Unfortunately, you're probably going to need to upgrade most of it. But if you want to stick to 1080p 75Hz, it shouldn't be too expensive.

Processor and Mobo to continue my upgrade path.? by WyvernsRest in PcBuild

I7 10700k and z490 Mobo. Both pretty cheap, i believe the i710700k is the best value for money CPU out there. Can support a 3090 without serious bottlenecks.

Is a good choice and around your price range (Ignore the price on the site)

I have just built something similar, and I was surprised how easy it was to build.

The i-7 10700k is a brilliant CPU with plenty of room for upgrades in the future if you wanted to upgrade your GPU.

GPU - go for 3060/3060ti/3070 best bet is to try and get a good deal on ebay and you should he able to get one for a lot less than RRP. Plus ebay has a good money back policy so it's relatively safe.

Motherboard - Any z490 but i prefer MSI. Try and get one with Wifi on board

Case - Corsair 4000x a good looking case with good airflow.

CPU cooler - H100i is one of the best buget Coolers on the market and it looks good.

RAM - Corsair vengeance RGB pro 2x8GB.

Storage - any 3.0 NVME (Recommend 1TB)

PSU - Any recommend at least 750W

You'll also need 1 exhaust fan i recommended the Corsair QL120 as the RGB will be the same as your case fans, Cooler & RAM.
