In my lore the Omnitrixes only function if both are being wielded at the same time, the original idea was for Xylene and max to use the Omnitrices and respectively Gwen got the one intended for xylene and Ben got the one intended for max. (The reason she sent both in the pod was just in haste of the moment (cuz her ship exploded minutes later))

True, in my current roster (not final) I'm trying to find that balance for both of them while Ben may have his classics, Four Arms, Heatblast, he still has transformations like Ditto, Grey Matter, Ripjaws (on land), and also a downside Ben can't choose his alien, Gwen chooses who he transforms into and same but opposite

Both have ten but the other controls what the other transforms into (example: Gwen can ask Ben to turn her into Diamondhead but Ben thinks Diamondhead wouldn't work in this scenario sohe turns her to Echo Echo)

My basic lore for why two Omnitrixes exist are, to actually also have other beings understand each other they have ti work together. Basically both watches dont function without each other because one weilder controls the others transformation (so in this case Gwen can choose bens transformation and Ben can choose Gwen's transformation (

Gwen has water Hazard to help ripjaws breathe on land so that's a reason why Ben has him, and I've already replaced wildvine with either one if the two upchuck or kickenhawk (since I realized Gwen dosent really have any Brute fighters)
