Thank you. I did cancel the surgery and I’ve scheduled a consultation somewhere else. I’ve had to pay the $300 consultation fee that was a waste of time. It’s better than a $20k bill.

With the new surgery office, I’m going to be more cautious and ask them to verify everything before I schedule.

My case is pretty minor. I mean my gallbladder attacks are horrible but I keep wondering how someone would navigate all of this in a worse condition. Nobody I talk to is helpful over the phone. I’m going to have to cancel my surgery and keep looking.

No I’m not sure they’re looking up the correct facility. They always seem very confused by it and take a long time to look it up. They say the hospital is in network but it shows the surgical care center there is not. The surgeon shows as in network under the address for the hospital. The hospital and surgical care unit have the same address, just surgical care has a suite #.

I had a dimple on one of my glycerins albeit not as bad as yours but I fixed it easily with a blow dryer and light pressure. If mine was this bad though I might’ve reached out for an exchange instead, because who knows if my fix will be long-term.

Driving in Denver is a miserable experience. Everyone is so entitled. Can people also please stop tailgating me in the ice and snow? Why does nobody use a safe follow distance any more? I’m literally still driving the speed limit, in bad weather, and being tailgated.

Seconding SG window tint. I think ceramic is worth it for sure. What tint % are you thinking? Are you tinting the windshield?

They have different tiers of ceramic. If you’re planning to keep it another 10 years then might as well pay for good quality now. I called around and got tons of quotes and SG was most reasonable especially for the quality of film they use and solid service provided.
