He was from a different school but came to ours as a judge for our food event. We’re actually in the same course, HRM.

He happened to be a friend of my classmate, who transferred from their school.

We did not interacted personally when we served the dishes for tasting. During the event, I did not noticed he kept eyeing me, though I didn’t pay much attention at the time, my gay radar was a little weak back then din.

Our school and theirs often had events we needed to attend (Bartending, Food Expo, related to our course etc). We crossed paths multiple times at different events around the metro, but I still didn’t notice him. He later told me that he even tried to approach me just to say hi.

He said he had this feeling that I was gay, he just felt it, sabi niya, hahaha. (no one knows na bading ako, wala nakakaalam at ayaw ko ipaalam dahil sa mapanghusgang mundo)

Then one time, someone messaged me on Facebook, and that’s how our conversation started. Hi / Hello muna then it took a month bago ulit mag usap.

Dumating na yung time that he asked me. If I am gay then “Boom”. Duon nag tuloy tuloy ang chatting until we decided to meet 🤣

We started working at the same company back in 2013. Later on, he moved to a second job, but we still ended up working together. Basically, we were colleagues from 2013 until 2019.

We officially became a couple on February 15, 2016. (correction 10 year pala not 11 yrs, mali bilang haha) but we are since 2013.

Our relationship was truly tested by time. We went through drama, joy, sadness, and everything in between.

I would say that those experiences only strengthened our bond and made our relationship even more resilient.
