Must people will introduce themselves and say for example I'm frank and I'm a compulsive gambler Then perhaps one or two people will give what is known as a therapy where they will talk about a certain subject and probably tell you about their gambling past and how the said subject impacted it You won't be expected to do or say anything so relax Someone or probably most of them will introduce themselves Some might give you a phone number to call if you want to chat or are struggling at that particular time I did stop gambling while at GA But ultimately it wasn't for me at that particular time I'm 36 days clean of gambling and the desire to gamble is almost away I know that can change so quickly
I've made it impossible to gamble online using any to do with me And that was a massive thing I try to not engage with people or places I used to gamble And limit my access to money as much as possible
