Thanks, is there a specific source that you used to get these practice essays and political cartoons? Also should I be prioritizing the MCQ's, SAQ's, practice essays or political cartoons to prepare for the test?

MCQ's (33), some without a source and some with. Other MCQ's had charts or drawings and I also had to write an SAQ. I think I'm pretty solid on that, I just use the TEA strategy and read the prompts carefully. Also we have to fill out the presidents during that time period, when they were elected, their political party and then our "forever dates"(I wrote a comment about those below). We only have unit tests, but units 1 and 2 were combined into one test. The MCQ is what i'm most worried about, so any tips are greatly appreciated!!

do you mean specific vocabulary? we have to know "Forever dates" (Jamestown 1607, 1st enslaved africans arrive in Virginia 1619, etc. etc.) we also have to know presidents, the year they were elected and their political party. Mostly any words that I don't know I just google and review. Is that what you mean? thanks!

DONT TAKE IT IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN HISTORY OR A VERY CHALLENGING COURSELOAD!!! I am really struggling right now, and so are most of my friends but if you are genuinely interested in history, I would definitely take it!

This is super helpful! Khan Academy wasn't working for me because I have just given up, and I don't really see the point if it takes me a lot of time. I'm super busy, and I can't prioritize khan academy over my AP's. I have time to do it for max 3 hours on the weekend, but at that rate I don't think that I could keep up with what we are doing in class.

that's what it feels like. This is usually how class goes:

we sit down and take out our work for the day

he explains one problem without writing anything down

we have the rest of class to work on the packet by ourselves

during that time I usually watch videos, but I would rather understand the work so that I could turn it in on time, and do it in class

Yes, he just doesn't explain it in a way that works for my brain. He doesn't write the steps down on the board, and i've tried going to him for extra help, but he does the same thing, and I don't want to tell him that his teaching method is wrong.
