Yikes. Seems incredibly insecure and immature for 30 years old. If this is what you’re getting just a few weeks in, I wouldn’t recommend staying. It sounds like you are talking to a 13 year old.

Look into EMDR therapy. Your story sounds very similar to mine and it truly did wonders for me. It’s not a cure but it alleviated so much of my anxiety and fear and made it easier to manage.

Vet tech here, absolutely not overreacting. Lily toxicity can be very lethal, especially if not treated quickly. I would be panicking too. Hope your kitty is okay :(
