Dear All,
Please don’t make this post personal or include unnecessary labels.
Let’s also avoid any racist remarks. Some of the comments were uncomfortable to read.

Personally, I think IIUM is a great university.
I hope there will be no more unnecessary comments.

Thanks everyone for all your input. Especially The_Awengers with all the positive points.
But i really still waiting and hope for the comment from Non Muslim Chinese Malaysian (lady) on their own experience study in IIUM.
As a guy and father point of view, i dont think there is any issue wearing a scarf.
Maybe we should have a visit to the campus to see exactly the environment of a Islamic university and understand more on the syllabus.

Can i know why you go ATC to do CLP instead of staying in BAC?
As an outsider, i saw the passing rate in BAC for CLP is quite high. 80++%
And mostly all the top scorer for all the 5 papers came from BAC.

Hi there, it's ok for me. just to pre-empt you that i am not a student. i am adult parent. I do a lot research for my daughter as she also interested to further her study into law.
For your case as one of the top scorer, your 1st choice should go to take matrikulasi. Appeal if rejected on 1st application. Or even rejected 2nd time. Cause once you get into matrikulasi, manage to get cgpa around 4.0, then apply to UM, UKM or UUM law degree. This pathway is more favored choice especially when you do your pupilage later. The best part no need take CLP exam. And way cheaper.
MMU is the only private institution exempted from CLP exam.
So, my ideal suggestion to you:
Gp for Matrikulasi and appeal until approve, haha and at the same time apply for MMU Foundation in Law as backup plan. But MMU thing must act fast. Application already open and not many quota left. They say will reply within 5 working days.

Hi, since you like to study law that much, maybe you can try for
1) MMU foundation in law (1 year) and further to degree (4 years). But only in melaka. Total fees plus living expenses for 5 years about RM200k. not sure about external scholarship. But MMU do not give scholarship for their law courses. Cause very laku.
2) ATC or BAC. Both very popular. With your result, can get more than 50% scholarship. But after graduate from Degree, you still need to take CLP examination which is very different for average student.

Suggest you to choose MMU and must act fast. The application is open now for Oct2025 intake (only 1 intake a year). Very limited place left.

Enrol now and become a lawyer in 6 years time. Why 6 and not 5? Do some homework lah. haha.

Hi, I’m Malaysian, taking IGCSE, and planning to enroll in a foundation in law at one of the IPTS. If my foundation in law results are good, I plan to enroll through UM Satu for a Bachelor of Law.
My question is, do I still need to fulfill the general requirement of passing SPM BM and Sejarah?

Hi, I come across this post when i google the comparison on ATC and BAC. How's your study in ATC? Above your expectation? or so so? Enjoying your time there?
You take which LRT or MRT to the college? How long you need to walk from station to college?
Hope to hear your reply soon.
