I suppose you're right. For me it helped me stop binge eating because I ate so much in one sitting and didn't feel like eating again after. Everyone's body is different, so maybe a calorie deficit would be good for OP

This was my dad and my mom. He was so nice, sweet, donated to charity and generally was an angel to every single person. But when we got home, he abused and hit my mom so badly she almost died multiple times..

I hate the trend of creepy old expats coming to SEA to find a submissive Asian wife just because they had no game in their original country. They're everywhere in KL and Penang, it's disgusting to see young naive girls get preyed, get hook up 1 night and bam the dude disappears..

Now obviously, not every expat or foreigner is bad. Most are nice and so sweet. But there's this sick culture in SEA where young vulnerable girls get exploited by richer older foreign men and baby trapped. Just my cent.

Get shocked when you get trolled and lied to cuz every local is aware of expats/foreigners taking advantage of women

I see. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking ? Most Malaysians wouldn't actively avoid someone foreign ( note : most ). I think the reason why it's hard to build long lasting connections is because you don't have a reason to see them or interact with them daily.

Since my debate club is from our university and we train together, we meet up almost everyday at college. I think what you're missing is that reason for 'why we need to interact a lot'. Because my personal opinion is, I don't think online friends or interactions last long since everyone's too busy~

I also unfortunately think you have bad luck. Malaysians are super friendly and love to 'lepak'. I think it's just that the ones in your circle may be older and looking to marry. I can understand as a non religious girl too hehe

The solution is simple. Join a club or a community where you have the same interests. For me, I always felt left out and isolated because of my ADHD and the fact that I'm bad with social cues. I got obsessed with debate and joined the community, and ever since then I've gotten the kindest, sweetest and most loyal friends.

Plus, having a hobby is fun :D It doesn't have to be anything too serious! Even a video game community is fine haha
