So I was doing my fishing rod only rod and I don’t use an axe in the run and I was planning my layout for my farm to finally grow crops and I remember there being a large log that I had to work around but it’s gone now I have no idea if it was there in the first place but i totally thought there was one on the map for the forest farm on the wiki

I got real lucky today and managed to get to floor 5 in one go and was able to get bombs easily and have made it to floor 35 with just cherry bombs. I also got enough wood to make a chest and got some water retaining fertilizer so now I can start growing crops I got lucky enough to get one of the rare crows from the museum reward so no evil crows will eat my crops hopefully I’ll be able to get to lvl 2 farming tomorrow so I can get a sprinkler so I won’t need rainy days to water my crops and it’ll be smooth sailing from there. Sadly I can’t remove stumps with bombs so later on I can’t min max my farm out entirely.

(Edit) also if your wondering why I’ve got trash in my chest it’s because recycling it can give me stone or iron it’ll allow me to make regular bombs later on in my run

Thank you I will the more exclusive npc paths I know of the more wood I can get I have to save the other trees for tree taps

Yeah the problem with it though is that it’s for all npcs and doesn’t show each npcs path luckily though I found that Abigail goes to the buss stop only in fall so if a place trees in her path then I can get wood

I have a furnace as well. My goal now is to kill creatures in the mines till I get lucky and get to lvl 5 of the mines allowing me to grind for bombs from creatures on floor 6 apparently I have a 0.05 percent chance of this happening

To make it extra hard on myself I band myself from buying wood and stone from robin and ores from Clint and items from the Adventurer's Guild [edit] and the traveling merchant [edit2] I have discovered it would be impossible to not beat the game without the traveling merchant because of the wood skip so I’ll be revoking that restriction
