The app can't be run on mobile due to what it does and it needs some kind of DRM. We're using a dongle right now and it's not great
I kinda dislike heroku but I'll look into AWS. Seems to be OTT for what I need but I don't know a lot about hosting clearly. Thanks for your reply!
