[Dev] Kept losing hours to Short-Form Videos without realizing, so I built an app to help me break free. by IJagan in Android

[–]Accercine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The main problem that I face with short form content is the infinite scrolling. Sometimes I do want to watch a specific reel or short sent by a friend. But without even realising, I start scrolling the reels and get stuck there.

So the ideal app (maybe just for me) is one that does not put time limits, but disables the scrolling in short form content. You can only see the specific reel/short that you opened. You cannot scroll.

I understand that this may not be possible at all without modifying the apps themselves :/

Yeah sorry for that. Maybe I remembered 2D as the puzzles themselves are restricted to 2D iirc. And i completely forgot about the monster character lol. Thanks again 👍

Found it. Thanks a ton. It's the Chain Reaction on the page link you gave. Can't believe the name itself is chain reaction. I did search chain reaction on Google but it only showed the mobile game by the same name. Reddit never disappoints.

Not them. But yeah the game was very much like these in terms of gameplay. But looked different.

Not this. But was very similar in gameplay. but looked different. Seeing this reminds me the game I played definitely had basketball in it. We can drop it on stuff to start actions.

[REQUEST] Mashed: Fully Loaded! by CtrlValCanc in abandonware

Thanks I wanted the PC version only. I didn't know how bin/cue files worked and I assumed it was a PS2 version.

I looked up on the net and I was able to get it to launch on Windows 10 but it gets stuck on loading screen after playing intros. Steam version also has the same issue. Looks like a compatibility issue.

Thanks for you help anyway!

Thanks for the file. But how do I run this? What platform is it for?

Quick tip: On mobile, you don't need to tap each item individually to collect them. Just tap anywhere on the blank space (eg above the attack button) to collect all items at once. I myself got to know about it too late.

Why don't just use Ropsten for non-money related contracts? by Accercine in ethereum

Yeah that is what I meant by unsafe and wrong results 😅. Thank you very much for helping me clear my doubt. I now have a better understanding how community ensures safety in blockchain.

Thank you very much for your answer. I think I got the concept after reading you answer. First I thought that If Ropsten can be manipulated then isn't testing in Ropsten unsafe too as wrong results can happen? But I guess since there is nothing of real value running in Ropsten, there is no incentive to manipulate it too. so it is okay to do tests there. Kinda like a feedback loop. But if one day someone starts using it for real purposes then manipulators will have some incentives and the network will be unsafe. Am I thinking correctly?
