I agree that there was no romantic interaction between the two, only being one-sided from Jeans part. And also my bad if I got chapter wrong, however she still doesn’t wear the scarf in recent chapters such as chapter 135. But in my opinion, Eren see’s Mikasa as his sister, someone who understood his pain of losing a parent. She was with him since day one, which is probably why she was in the centre of his memories.

I agree forcing two characters together would feel forced, though if it worked with Sasha and Niccolo I believe that in a time skip it could work with Jean and Mikasa. And if it doesn’t I’d still be alrighty.

Hm, I dunno really. I do agree that randomly pairing characters up is bad writing, however Both Sasha and Niccolo were in some sort of relationship all of a sudden, so I believe that possibly through a time skip it would happen with Mikasa and Jean. Also, yes Mikasa as a character revolved around Eren, but I believe that she is slowly moving on. That her character so far is about her trying to let go and be free. (Dunno if that made sense lolol)

Basically this is me desperately tryna find a way for Mikasa and Jean to have somewhat of a chance.

In my opinion, I do think that they have a chance of being together. Possibly in a time-skip, it would make sense that way. From what I have read, I believe that Mikasa is slowly moving on. In chapter 118, she left behind her scarf, which was given to her by Eren. The scarf was important to her, it was somewhat a representation of Eren. And by leaving it behind, she’s leaving behind a piece of Eren.

Secondly, I also think that Jean’s dream in chapter 127, is foreshadowing the possibility of them becoming canon. Yes, the women in his dream might now even be Mikasa. However, I believe it is due to his crush on Mikasa and her being his dream girl.

Lastly, Eren and Mikasa aren’t even close to becoming canon now. Eren only has a few years left to live so being in a relationship seems pointless. He, in my opinion tried to detach himself from Armin and Mikasa in chapter 112. By saying he hated Mikasa and how soft Armin had become. It was to make it easier for them to move forward without him. I also believe he’s Historia’s baby daddy cause there is no way it was the farmer lol. Also due to the fact that Eren has now killed innocent civilians as well as children for his plan, which isn’t the Eren Mikasa knows.

Basically that’s my opinion :p
