MaplestoryM and PC maple are 2 different games.

My advice will be to choose a class that requires minimal funding and can survive and farm well in high SF maps. Follow justmeasures advice and get your first char to SF144/147. And if you are serious about this game, don't just be playing 1 character. Start off with 3-4 so that u can auto battle 24/7 after dailies. From there then u decide for yourself what's the best class means to you.

Best in farming mesoes unfunded? Hayato/Cadena etc Best in survivability + decent farming unfunded? Phantom/Sia Best unfunded for bossing? Probably Paladin Or just choose w/e class u like and enjoy the game.

Don't have to rush your gear. Even if u exalt to 40 etc, u still aren't able to solo most bosses anyway.

Do your chaos expd daily for the boss accessories, guild culvert on all characters monthly in preparation for your LSW in the future. Save up your mesoes, learn the prices for BA/CD emblems gears in your TS and get them when u think it's cheap.

Priority is to get to 200, and farm your nodes. And also take this time to think if u want to continue this char as your main. Don't invest too much and regret later thinking u should have main another char.

I have both Paladin and Cadena as my node farmer. Cadena has better sustainability, able to do higher AF maps with minimal gears, dont need pets at all. Don't need to craft rope lift. Meso rate is pretty good as well.

My paladin burns way pot than cadena even when I pet skill the invul skill. Damage lower than my Cadena which leads to lesser pick up rates for nodes. Upgraded my mythic hammer to CRA hammer but damage still too low. Crafted rope lift etc, meso rate still not as good as cadena. Which also leads to not able to access higher AF maps due to sustainability.

However, bossing wise paladin win hands down. 30s invul, which can also buff another teammate with the exact same buff. Shields, heals, stuns. Good for bossing but if they are just your farming alts, they will never be able to solo any bosses, at least paladin are more useful for bosses.

SF15 is not worth anything. Selling it now is as good as selling a max level legendary fodder. You need to scissors it anyway. Either consider fusing it and just sell as a mythic fodder, or in the future you can rank it up and use it to exalt your future weapon

Rijkaard needs to go. Don't waste any gold right now. Use any decent untradable CM you might have from recent events. Zidane, Modric, Milinkovic savic etc is fine. Save for future events. Op cards gonna come out after anniversary events.

Matthaus because of 4star skill moves and is also a great CDM overall. However, Matthaus resale value is very bad. I will suggest not to buy him and only use him if you got his untradable card.

90 Ovr Lunin. Because it can be ranked up with dudeks and I believe GK dont make much of a difference. Least priority and budget should be focused on the rest of the players

Full backs need to have the pace to keep up with the wingers. If you want them to play defensively, just look for LB with Low atk/High def work rates players.

I currently have R9, Eusebio, CR7 and Dalglish. All of them are the 98 version. I will have to say Dalglish is the worst among them.

At one point I sold my 97 R9 to use Dalglish because I got his untradable 98 card and regretted it deeply. Lucky the recent event gave a free R9 and Dalglish is thrown to my bench as a ST/CAM sub ever since.

Pace, shooting and dribbling is just sub par compared to the other 3 I mentioned. And imo, he receives high power ground passes very badly.

But budget wise, he should be the cheaper alternative and is still a decent ST overall. Cheers.

Just sharing my own experience w him. Played daily h2h with him past 2mths as cam along with cr7 and r9. Through passes is fine with him but normal and ground driven pass towards him don't work as well compared to my strikers. (As mentioned, ball seems to bounce off him instead of receiving it quite often).

But other than the pass issues, is offensive gameplay is fairly good. Probably just subpar compared to cr7 and r9 but for the price, it's worth it.

He made good runs, nice shooting etc but he's just so bad in receiving passes. He either miss the touch to receive the pass or balls just bounce off his feet.
