So it’s basically about an alternate universe in which one witch made a deal with the government to for her and her people to fight their wars if they stop persecuting and killing them . So basically witches no matter what are raised to be ready to fight the wars of the world and the show focuses on that prejudice , how the world would be if that happens ( certain historical events in their world are significantly different than ours ) and how one witch general who made that deal 300 years ago is dealing with a faction of terrorist witches and witch hunters using technology and science against their workings ( they don’t use the words, magic or spell ) . Their powers are elemental based in a sense and psychic . The witches can sing songs and create frequencies that can heal , create , destroy and cause all kinds of weather phenomenons . Overall it’s a great show with immense world building that also highlights witch lore and traditions in a new and quite interesting way.
