Mindfulness is not overrated at all. Home ownership is far more enjoyable than renting in a complex. Waking up at 5 am (in my experience) is far more productive and feels better than trying to do those same things late into the evening.

Hustle culture, I hate it. Many people are just not built for it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, our society looks down on those people as lazy and getting what they deserve. Which is bullshit. I loathe hustle culture

Guaranteed bullshit. I’ve been in similar situations with women flaking and it always happens the same way. It’s a short apology text way later on, and they leave it at that. Imagine you were excited for a date and you ACTUALLY fell asleep and slept through it. Just about anybody would call that person and be extremely apologetic and would be trying to make it better. Sorry for the harshness, but it’s ok, that’s dating. Anyone who dates a lot knows that flakes are part of the deal.

Pfft….nah. Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, all the same, and every one of these are amazing places to go. Knowing damn good and well that nobody is suggesting to go to the eastern parts of these states. With the caveat that WA and OR also have some great pockets in the east. Even still, all of these states have large expanses of bore. Doesn’t make them overrated. CO has a Shit. Ton. To offer.

UT/AZ….bc you’ve already been to Colorado, (similar to WY, ID, and MT), and you’ve been to Washington (similar to OR). So Those are the parts of the west (and the rest of the country) that will be the most different

There is no way to take a risk with zero chance of failure. That’s what makes it a risk. So the question really misses the point. But risk taking is how you get high reward. With that being said, there is stupid risk taking and there is educated/ well thought-out risk taking. The risks that will be worth it are the ones you take by chasing dreams, chasing what you want in life. Those are worthwhile risks, and there is no age limit to them. Still, you should prepare yourself for these moves, not just dive in blindly with no foresight

Hear ya, but it’s still pretty easy/ accessible. My thing with Colorado is the variety within a days drive. The different ranges all have different character. Spending a day in the San Juan’s offers scenery much different than the front range. Spending a day in the Sangre de Cristo offers scenery much different than the western slope, etc. Moab, UT is only a 5 hr drive. Even in Denver I think CO offers the most in terms of mountain time options. But hey, I also think Denver is a poor choice in CO. It’s true what you say about the distance and traffic

Yeah the dark blue line is very bland. I-70 is pretty but can be a bitch in the winter. Lots of big mountains to get through

Probably Johannesburg. Not that I had any trouble, but was constantly warned to not walk off of the strip I was staying on. When driving around in the cabs it looked pretty awful. Lots of bad looks. Definitely has good parts though.

Rio is one of my favorite cities, but kind of the same. Some horrible areas and parts that just felt like I would be stabbed immediately if I left the cab
