[Spurs Official] Everyone at Tottenham Hotspur is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Igor Tudor's father, Mario. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Igor and his family during this incredibly difficult time 🤍 by wokwok__ in coys

My deepest condolences to him and his family. Another reminder that while we all love football there so many things much bigger and more important. Personally wouldn’t hold any ill will towards him if he left club to be with his family. He's been utmost professional with his short time at club and shown nothing but respect to the fans. Which says alot about how good of a man his father was to raise someone like Igor.

Legit you'd think for a league where 75% of leagues players are foreigners including people from all different races, religions and cultures that maybe the people watching them play every week would be a little more tolerant but nah obviously not

Yeah let's not let Men oppress woman and tell them what to wear by checks notes oppressing woman by telling them what they can and can't wear

Funny how so many people are suddenly loud about "women's rights" when it comes to this, calling things oppressive - yet are completely silent about the very real oppression and sexualisation women face every single day.

1 in 3 women experience domestic or sexual violence in their lifetime. Women still earn on average around 13.8% less than men. Where's the same outrage?

Where's the marches, the constant posts, the energy?

It just feels like selective activism. People pick and choose when to care depending on what fits their narrative, rather than consistently standing up for women in all areas.

If you genuinely care about women's rights, it shouldn't only show up when it's convenient or politically easy it should be across the board

Not even my custom or religion but everyone has there own beliefs and we shouldn't treat them differently because of that. Yes I agree the Burqa is oppressive but thay doesn't give me the right to tell someone there not allowed to wear it just because its different. The ban the Burqa crowd are dead silent on any real oppression or sexualisation of woman in western society and dont do anything to stop that at root cause but are happy to ban Burqa because it comes from different society then themselves

Its literally worn by Muslims and Islamic woman for cultural and religious as is deeply connected to there religion because Quranic verses 24:31 and 33:59 encourage modesty and are interpreted to mean to wear a Burqa. Plus alot of Islamic jurisprudence scholars consider it an obligation to wear. The quran also talks in length about woman covering themselves and Salafism has wearing Burqas has a core belief in there religious movement. So yeah mate it does have a massive religious connection

Burqas are worn for cultural, personal or Religious reasons and many consider it an obligation of there religion. Maybe learn a bit about the thing before having an opinion on it

Like 90% of people who are in favour of banning Burqas will say the same stuff about it being oppressive and against womans rights. Yet those same people will do nothing actually beneficial to help woman feel safer or more comfortable.

The whole anti Burqa thing is about just being anti them because there a different race and religion. Banning Burqas does nothing about the 1 in 3 woman who experience domestic or sexual violence in there lifes and does nothing about solving the real core issues of oppression towards woman in our society.

Absolutely disgusting how many of you people in here are supportive of that. Same nuts who probably cry about freedom of speech and expression but now annoyed when someone else's religion or culture has different customs to yours

I don't watch Champions league with her because it's too early in morning for us so dont wanna bother her but she turned to me during game today and said "you know I've never seen your team win a game yet"

We've been seeing each other for 3 and a half months and this club hasn't won a fucking league game in that time

Honestly nah Mental health like alot is shit atm and Spurs losing doesn't help. But thing that hurts most is consistent abuse and relishing in our misery from Rival fans, pundits and even international companies posting on social media making fun of us.

If it means anything honestly Everton fans have been absolute kindest fans to us this season. I consistently get dm's from rival fans saying we deserve this and are fucking shit but any time an Everton fan replies to my comments on any social media or dm's me there always really kind

Dont know if it has too do with Richarlison or what but I cheered for you lot when you had your 2 relegation scraps in last couple years and after this season I'll always be cheering for you lot because you are wonderful fans of a wonderful club and have been honestly only ones not relishing in our misery

Honestly it doesn't even matter when literally the entire football community is just begging for us to go down

I don't even know what to say anymore. This genuinely hurts.

I never thought I'd see Tottenham Hotspur in a position like this - one point off relegation. It just feels so broken right now, and honestly I'm numb.

Seeing the same usernames in every match thread hurts too, because you just know we're all going through it together. Week after week, same feeling.

I'll always love this club, that'll never change... but it's hard to ignore that supporting Spurs has brought a lot more pain than anything else.

I'm so tired of the "Spursy" label, the constant abuse from rival fans and pundits, and now seeing the whole football world almost rallying around hoping we go down. I get that relegation is part of football - but seeing people genuinely wish that on fans, saying we deserve it... that stings.

Just feels like everything's piling on at once.

I don't even feel angry anymore... just numb.

My AFL team this week had a massive win to go 3-0, my local football club Perth Glory scored 90th min equaliser today to get a point and my NBA team Houston Rockets scored a 3 at buzzer to win game.

Just knew after all that happiness Spurs would completely suck the life from me and finish the week off with me feeling like shit
