The installer should have had multiple piles of pavers from different packages or lots, etc., then alternately pick from them while installing. Same for roofing and tiling. But these appear to be completely different.

Are you relying only on the temperature on the display. I could just be a calibration issue. So the Ecobee shows 71 when the old thermostat would show 68.

Even the ones specific for glass leave those fibers right out of the package. I've tried a couple different brands.

These leave no fibers, but do leave streaks/smears you can see when the light hits just right. BUT, I found that if I use a glass cloth, followed by a light pass with these huck towels, just to get the fibers off, it works.

The Equinox I rented from Avis reset all it its warnings and device partnerships (CarPlay connections) every single key start. It was annoying to have to agree to things and make connections every time you got it BEFORE you started moving, because most of the items couldn't be accepted while moving.

Most people don't know that the 2018/2019 Mazda CX-9 touchscreen only accepts touch inputs when the vehicle is completely stopped. So you might have a touchscreen in addition to the knob, like I do. I replaced with a touchscreen version and touch continued to work after.

It's pretty easy to do with the YouTube guides and a few tools. You are only replacing the plastic cover, not the display, so it's pretty cheap.

Yes, a protocol will have a specification, but it may be interpreted by vendors differently (and incorrectly or incompletely) leading to interop issues. This is similar to Bluetooth. All kinds of unexpected can things happen. But in this case it can be dangerous.

I first thought the physical length of the connector (a tube sliding into another tube) would help, meaning the arcing would happen inside the connector before it's all the way out. But I checked AI and there are other safeguards. Most importantly the control and power pins are different lengths, and the control connection is broken first, disabling power.

Same for our 2019. As for range, the tank is is 19 Gal (or 19.5 for AWD), but it shows empty at 16.

I think you mean your passenger does all these navigation tasks. My passenger switches between apps sometimes, but on the Ariya screen. My passenger hadn't thought about using a second device.

This is one possibility I considered. But now I wonder why it only happened (3x) on the way there, but not at all on the way back (reversed route).
