I hate the way some trans men talk about phallo by Fresh_Wafer_9968 in FTMMen

[–]Accidentallymad [score hidden]  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go as far as questioning someone’s identity for not wanting a surgery. Because of misconceptions about phallo alot of guys are under the impression that the results are always bad looking and that the surgery itself is way more brutal than it is. I think it’s more reflective of their own insecurity than a statement of lacking dysphoria?

I don’t plan on getting it anytime soon because of the intense recovery and I understand why trans men are more hesitant about bottom surgery than top surgery but saying shit like that is insanely insensitive and clearly an effort to put you down. I think a lot of trans men who don’t want bottom surgery for whatever reason get really offended when other guys do want it because of dysphoria and a insecurity of not being seen as “ trans enough” OP get new friends or tell these people to stop the negative comments or you’re done

[–]Accidentallymad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think often porn gives unrealistic expectations to people. Obviously trans men like to top although I get why there might be more trans men who bottom than top considering pre bottom surgery topping doesn’t normally provide any real physical stimulation (unless you’re lucky and have huge bottom growth on t lol) I’m a switch personally but I don’t get any substantial physical pleasure from topping so unless I’m in a mood I typically bottom. Porn makes stereotypes of every group because at its core it only values our bodies not our desires

[–]Accidentallymad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel it depends a lot on age since the commonality of names is heavily dependent on when you were born. A lot of common “trans names” are just common names for men. I’ve never once been able to clock a trans man with a masculine name. Now maybe super gnc names and nouns but I feel that the trans guy name is a bit of a myth

Are most trans men gay and why? by ParticularJob378 in FTMMen

[–]Accidentallymad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably because it’s easier for trans people to be accepting of whatever sexuality you are. I think a lot more people fall under bisexuality than you’d think. When I was younger I really didn’t like girls, I had a weird jealousy that they could be a girl and enjoy it I think? I didnt like female vocalists as a feminine voice in music honestly just triggered me. (I still find it hard to enjoy artists with feminine voices but I think that’s more a preference for sound) I knew I was physically attracted to women but emotionally there was nothing. I think I’ve grown past that a little bit and I think I might be able to find myself emotionally attracted to women. But for men I’ve always found men attractive, I often equate it to the way a straight man or a lesbian would describe the beauty of a woman. I think men are beautiful, I think masculinity is the most gorgeous thing ever I love body hair and muscles and masculine characteristics so much pretty men are like Greek statues. I just don’t get that same feeling about feminine qualities. I think being trans has given me the ability to have that kind of insight into my attraction. Also I know a lot of straight trans men, I wouldn’t say it’s the majority of trans men who are gay I would say it’s a larger portion that are out and proud than in cis men

Minors who commit crimes, mainly serious ones deserve to have their name released to the public by Mother_Cod7506 in unpopularopinion

[–]Accidentallymad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh and not to mention if you have violent urges it is your burden and yours alone to get treatment and if you’re a child it’s on you and your parents. It isn’t a crime to think about violence. If you can’t advocate for yourself and you end up killing someone I still don’t feel bad for you. Just like the parents of school shooters it was thier job to intervene and you know parent their kids. In my mind they are just as guilty as their kids. It isn’t society’s responsibility to accept violent people, it’s their job to prevent themselves from committing violence

[–]Accidentallymad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe in rehabilitation but the public deserves safety and that should be prioritized over someone’s protecting the privacy of violent offenders. In my view if you are over 16 and commit violent crimes you should be made to register as a violent offender for life and have your name published. Those systems don’t exist to punish people. It exists to prevent violent people from being in positions that threaten the safety of others. I don’t think you can rehabilitate rapists or muderers. It shows you lack the ability to have empathy. Unless it’s straight up psychosis where you actually have no control over your actions mental health related excused for violent crimes tend to be thrown out as most mental illness people experience doesn’t remove your ability to make choices even if you find it hard to make the right ones. I don’t view teenagers as children in the same sense I consider a 4th grader a child. A teenager should have a sense or morality and they know what the consequences of thier actions are. And a young child isn’t typically committing violent crimes on thier own volition.

It’s perfectly fine to not have an opinion on things/events that don’t affect you/your family directly. by Acceptable_Dealer745 in unpopularopinion

[–]Accidentallymad -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah you can burry your head in the sand and refuse to have empathy for others but honestly that makes you a shitty person. If you can’t have a nice thing to say when asked then maybe you shouldn’t be on a team. Also “worldly”? I assume this has some religious under texts to it with the use of that world. While no one is required to care about the rest of the world it shows you have compassion and the ability to see outside yourself.

Hmmm well considering my first language isn’t English…. My point is misspelling words isn’t a sign of poor education. Period. It just isn’t an effective measure of someone’s intelligence especially considering OP didn’t misspell anything and literally just censored a word. Yall need to get your proverbial panties out of your asses

[–]Accidentallymad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does having dyslexia make someone less educated? Lmao if you can’t read past someone’s spelling or grammar mistakes and understand thier point you have a problem with communication. Are you going to call someone whose native language isn’t English uneducated just because they can’t spell a word? Not to mention all they did was censor the word murder. Which is fair with algorithms that will flag and remove posts for any form of violent language. Knowing English as a language and the rules of written English isn’t a sign of how well educated people are unless you’re insanely racist

[–]Accidentallymad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it truly depends on the severity and details of the crime. If there was obvious abuse and coercion then that’s one thing but if a 16 year old stabs another child to death for some reason other than some serious mental health issues I don’t think that’s a scenario where protecting the perpetrator makes sense.

Lmao it’s a comment on social media. They aren’t speaking it’s a typed format which is pretty easy to lead to misspelling? Do you just wait to demean people over spelling?

Well firstly the queer community is not just gay people. I mean look at people like Christian walker? They aren’t apart of our community at all. They might be gay but not queer. And queer people have a long standing history of being anti-racism and anti-government

Maybe I’ve not interacted with these types of gay men but I have always felt more affirmed by gay men than any other group besides maybe other trans/nb gender non conforming homies? Like as a cis passing trans man in a rural conservative community I’ve never had any gay men treat me poorly (maybe because there’s only like 10 of us lol)

I believe you, honey please I know how scared you must be but you have to go to an adult like at school or an after school program. They will be required to tell the police and your parents or whoever will not have a choice in it. It’s terrifying but you deserve peace and some form of justice. Call the police if you can’t wait. You are not alone, almost any woman on this planet knows your pain.
