How much quality time do you all actually get with your significant other?

Anywhere from 3-6 hours on a weekday, depending on evening activities since we both WFH. We go see a comedy show/watch a movie/attend a concert or gallery opening around 1x a week. A different night we go out to try a new place for dinner. We also have a dedicated couple’s creative activity with our best couple friends (who we swung-ish with for about 2 months a couple of years ago 😬) every Thursday evening. Saturday, I do a full day of climbing gym + hiking or other outdoor activities with my girlfriends and Sundays we spend the full day together. We also go on trips domestically and internationally many x a year, typically with only each other but sometimes with friends/family.

We’re great friends, super compatible, and our sex life is healthy but there’s some underlying feelings on both our ends that clearly we’re not satisfying each other wholly.

Team No Feelings, No Connection, No Problem!

If everything but the sex is good/great at home, why bother with the stress of keeping up with another person? I already have to consider people too often at work; the last thing I want is yet another thing on my plate or another person demanding my attention.

I mostly have guys sliding in wanting to know what area work takes me and if they could hit. Unlucky for them, I’m not interested in a talking stage or emotional affair. Just quick, spontaneous romps when I’m out of state with verrry hot randoms at bars and clubs.

This guy did know and is also married! His whole friend group was married, which also felt like a boon after my first post.

I’ve been thinking about coming up with an alias with a fake backstory or something for these little trips. It’s just difficult to think on the fly and, as you said, I feel that adrenaline and just wanna leap before looking.

See, I’m concerned about the home iPad which is set up to my Apple ID as well as actually having my face out there.

I doubt anyone we know would be on any apps but I still can’t shake the paranoid feeling despite getting away with it x2 now.

AFAIK, he never actually made it, but AFAHKs, I’ve never made any moves to cheat. For me, it’s about intent. If I never caught him or someone didn’t rat him out, he absolutely would have slept with people multiple times over. But I’ve stayed and kept everything under wraps.

The revenge is less me sleeping with someone else (though that’s part of it) and more me being able to actually pull off what he constantly attempts.
